Project Narrative

The construction of Expanded Programme of Immunization (EPI) Cold Room Buildings is a Project funded by the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI). The overall objective of the programme is to increase access to immunization services, provide effective and potent vaccines and increase demand for the services in order to reduce  infant morbidity and mortality rates due  to childhood vaccine  preventable diseases. Arch Art Lab was hired by UNICEF to design Vaccine Stores for four sites (Central Medical Stores Trust in Lilongwe; Zomba Community Hospital; Mangochi District Council and Mzimba District Council).
